Omer Imrek

US Flood Barrier was born out of lived experience, deep roots, and a clear purpose: to protect our home, our neighborhood, and the places we love.
For years, Omer has called South Florida home. His wife's family home is just steps from the water in Fort Myers—a home filled with memories, history, and now, rising risk. Over the years, Omer has helped his neighbors protect their homes from water, or waded through floodwaters to rescue elderly neighbors, and helped restore a community that’s been hit again and again.
Some of those neighbors have been part of his wife's family life for more than 50 years. But today, many are moving—not by choice, but by necessity. After being flooded three times in five years, the emotional, physical, mental, and financial toll becomes too much.
Together with Vianney, they created US Flood Barrier to protect their community, state, and country from rising waters. They have worked on many projects together and independently across Southwest Florida. Vianney lives in Naples and focuses on the area from Marco Island to Estero. Omer, who lives in Fort Myers, focuses on the area from Fort Myers to Punta Gorda. As a team, they offer local expertise and responsive, tailored solutions.
