Introduction
The FlowStop flood barrier consists of
two cushions in a double-chamber design.
The top cushion pushes sideways against the wall, locking the device in place and acting as a restraint for the lower cushion.
The lower cushion, compressed between the ground
and the upper cushion, inflates and expands.
Its upward movement is blocked by the top cushion, forcing it to press firmly against the ground to create a watertight seal.

To use Flowstop, you need
a framed opening.
In the absence of a frame, contact us,
so we can help you set one.
02
Width of the frame
Your FlowStop can be as long as you need.
Measure the width of your opening from wall to wall.
Please make sure to measure the size of the opening you want to protect, not the size of your door.

IMPORTANT
Measure the width at the bottom of the opening and at the top where you expect to install your FlowStop. Keep the wider of the two measurements.
03
Depth of the frame
Your opening needs to be deep enough to accommodate the FlowStop.
The depth of your FlowStop depends on its width—the longer the FlowStop, the thicker it will be.
Ensure you have a flat and uniform surface for the full depth and height of the FlowStop installation area.
The frame needs to be
at least 4" deep
The FlowStop will be 6" deep
For Devices up to 78"
The frame needs to be
at least 5.33" deep
The FlowStop will be 8" deep
For devices 78" and up

FlowStop needs at least 2/3 of its depth to push against the wall.
04
Height
FlowStop can be as tall as you need.
Please investigate the expected water levels in your zone and plan accordingly.
If your FlowStop is installed against a door, ensure the handle or any other obstruction won’t get in the way.
minimum height of 31.5"
FlowStops up to 78"
minimum height of 39.5"
FlowStops longer than 118"
