Privacy policy

Effective date: July 9, 2026

FlowStop Industries Inc. (FlowStop, we, us, or our) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website flowstopfloodbarrier.com, our landing pages, and our related services (together, the Services).

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you request a quote, place an order, subscribe, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, shipping or property address, property details, and, for purchases, payment information.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our Services, we and our partners automatically collect certain technical and usage information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser identifiers, general location, pages viewed, referring source, and interactions with our site. This may also include advertising identifiers such as click IDs passed by advertising platforms, for example Google's gclid, Meta's fbclid, or Microsoft's msclkid.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to

  • Process and deliver orders and quotes

  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

  • Send you order updates, appointment reminders, and product or safety information

  • Operate, secure, and improve our Services

  • Measure, optimize, and deliver our advertising

3. Cookies, Tracking Technologies and Advertising

When you visit our website or landing pages, we and our advertising and analytics partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tracking technologies to measure site performance, understand how visitors use our Services, and deliver and measure advertising. These partners include

  • Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics)

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Vibe (connected TV and streaming advertising)

Through these tools, we may share online identifiers with these partners, such as your IP address, device identifiers, advertising click IDs (for example Google's gclid), and a hashed, irreversible version of your email address or phone number, so they can measure the effectiveness of our advertising and deliver relevant ads. This may include showing you our ads based on your prior visits to our website (retargeting) and matching your household to advertising audiences across websites, apps, and streaming or connected TV devices. When a lead progresses, for example when we contact you or complete a sale, we may also send a corresponding measurement event back to these advertising platforms using the click ID associated with your visit (offline conversion measurement).

Under some U.S. state privacy laws, this use of cross context tracking and advertising technologies may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. You can exercise choices about this activity as described in Section 6 below.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. We honor browser based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. You can also opt out of personalized advertising directly through Google's and Meta's ad settings, or use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our website footer.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as described in this Policy.

  • Service providers that help us operate our business, for example hosting, payment processing, CRM, scheduling, communications, and analytics vendors, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us

  • Advertising and analytics partners (Google, Meta, Vibe), as described in Section 3, for measurement and advertising

  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public

  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. SMS and Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from FlowStop Flood Barrier related to your inquiry, order updates, appointment reminders, and product or safety information. Message frequency may vary based on your interactions. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or by contacting us through our website. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

SMS data is not shared for marketing. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent data with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell or rent SMS opt in data. This SMS carve out is separate from, and does not limit, the advertising measurement activity described in Section 3, which involves hashed, irreversible identifiers used only to measure our own advertising.
